The
construction of the 11,000 PE large purification plant covering the area of Litija
and Šmartno pri Litiji with its 15.4 km long sewage system has been managed by
Riko as main contractor.
The subcontractors in this project were the Trgograd company,
which was in charge of the construction work and the Institute for ecological
engineering d.o.o. that took over the design and equipment supply. Important
figures attended the solemn opening of this purification plant, among them Irena
Majcen, the Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning of the Republic of
Slovenia.
