As part of the
NEDO project, which is being implemented for our client ELES, d.o.o., we are
building a battery energy storage with all associated equipment which will be
located in the BTC (goods transport center) area in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The project has
us working with subcontractors such as ABB Power Grids Italy SpA, ABB Power
Grids Switzerland Ltd, ESOTECH, OMP and other companies for the supply of
specific components. The battery storage will provide 4MW of power and 8MWh of
capacity to help the Slovenian electricity network. The project will be
completed in the first half of 2021, when the battery storage will be connected
to the network of the electricity supplier Elektro Ljubljana.
