Riko constructed and handed over
three wooden villas to its client in Les Bordes, one of the most beautiful golf
resorts in the world.
The Les
Bordes estate lies 140 km south of Paris in the Loire river valley. This 750 ha
estate was established by baron Marcel Bich, the founder of the BIC company and
brand known for pens and raiser blades. The golf estate is known as one of the
best in Europe, for it combines golf courses of the highest standard and
exceptional natural resources. The golf courses have been equipped with the
existing infrastructure and besides the courses the resort itself offers
beautiful club venues, restaurants, shops and a 19th century castle
with 40 apartments. The ambitious new owners of the resort would like to add
new capacities to the existing complex and offer the golf course users a luxury
golfing experience. Riko was entrusted with the construction of the first three
wooden villas designed by the Anderson & Orr architectural studio.
