Company story

Riko d.o.o. has developed to become a vertically integrated group of companies offering technological products and services for different phases of the production process in many industries.

The roots of Riko reach back to the 19^th century, when a sports and medical equipment factory was established under the name of JOR, in the small town of Ribnica, the cradle of Slovenian entrepreneurship. The company RIKO – a Slovene acronym standing for “Ribnica metal processing factory” - was built on its very foundations. From that time onwards and until 1990, agricultural mechanisations, tractor trailers, aircraft and municipal equipment, waste management equipment as well as highly sophisticated flexible systems were developed.

In the 1990s, RIKO shifted its focus from pure manufacture to engineering.

With our offer and representation of prestigious European manufacturers, we from RIKO have become a long-term partner of, in particular, car producers in the markets of the former Soviet Union who are updating their technological processes. Thanks to our skills, we have extended our area of operation to many markets where the need has arisen to provide integral solutions for the introduction of modern, efficient and eco-friendly technologies.
