Jubilee Medal of the Republic of Belarus

To mark the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian diplomatic service, HE Ms. Alena Kupchina, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Slovenia, bestowed the Anniversary Medal on Janez Škrabec.

The board of the Managers’ Association of Slovenia selected RIKO CEO Janez Škrabec as Manager of the Year 2017.

Award for outstanding achievement in business

In 2007, the Slovene daily newspaper Finance bestowed the award for outstanding business achievements on RIKO CEO Mr Janez Škrabec.

Award of the Slovene Chamber of Commerce for outstanding achievement in business

The Slovene Chamber of Commerce honoured RIKO CEO Janez Škrabec in 2008 for outstanding economic and entrepreneurial achievements.

Friendship medal

The President of the Russian Federation awards Mr Janez Škrabec the Medal of Friendship, one of the highest recognitions given by the state.

Among the 23 New Global Philanthropists

In his book The New Philanthropists (London, 2006), Charles Handy dedicates an entire chapter to Mr Janez Škrabec and his work as a generous patron of arts and social programs, bringing him into the company of 23 new philanthropists.

In 2010, the newspaper Finance bestowed its prestigious title Patron of the Year on Mr Janez Škrabec.

In 2013, the RIKO company receives the Golden Thread for best Slovenian employer.

Pro universitate labacensi

In 2008, the University of Ljubljana awards Janez Škrabec the Pro Universitate Labacensi medal for his contribution to the development of the University of Ljubljana.

Top Manager

At the Capital 2011 Financial Fair, Janez Škrabec is named Top Manager from a selection of nominees drawn up by 40 journalists from the business and economics departments of Slovenia’s largest media.

Russian Slava (Glory) Award

In 2014, Janez Škrabec receives the international Russian Slava award for preserving and cultivating commercial and cultural ties between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Slovenia.

En.Odmev Award

The Energetika.NET portal, in cooperation with the credit rating agency Bisnode, awards Riko the En.Odmev Award for successful, responsible, and sustainable business leadership.
