Janez Škrabec, President and CEO of RIKO, has received the Gold Medal of the International Institute IFIMES in recognition of his outstanding contribution to international cooperation, economic diplomacy, and the strengthening of connections between economies, regions, and nations.
The award was presented by Dr. Dritan Abazović, newly appointed Vice President of the IFIMES Advisory Board, former Prime Minister of Montenegro, and President of the Civic Movement URA.
Upon receiving the medal, Janez Škrabec emphasized that cooperation and connectivity are core values on which he has built his professional path for many years, enabling him and the company RIKO to successfully meet major challenges in international markets.
“Cooperation and connectivity are the foundation of my personal value system and of RIKO’s business culture. I consider the recognition from the International Institute IFIMES a special honour and confirmation of this approach. I accept it with deep gratitude and as encouragement for further work,” he stated.
He also added that such awards are not an end in themselves, but rather a responsibility to continue contributing to cooperation, stability, and development in the broader international environment.
