The construction of the 11,000 PE large purification plant covering the area of Litija and Šmartno pri Litiji with its 15.4 km long sewage system has been managed by Riko.

The purification plant in Idrija has been solemnly opened. Riko was the main contractor in this project and was responsible for the demolition and reconstruction of some of the existing buildings and the construction of new buildings, installation of new technological equipment and the increase of capacity from 4500 PU (population unit) to 9000 PU.

Janez Škrabec, the director of Riko signed a construction contract with Vojko Sotošek, the director of Infra, a company in charge of infrastructural work in the construction project of the hydroelectric power plant in the spodnjesavska region. This contract refers to the construction of an accumulation pool with a high-water controlled release device for the Brežice hydroelectric power plant.

Riko constructed and handed over three wooden villas to its client in Les Bordes, one of the most beautiful golf resorts in the world.

On the occasion of Mr Alain Richard’s state visit to Slovenia Riko signed a cooperation agreement with the French company OTV.

In a small town called Montfort Lꞌ Amaury in the vicinity of Paris, where the first Starck and Riko house was built, Philippe Starck and Riko’s director Janez Škrabec have introduced the public their new P. A. T. H. house line (“Prefabricated Accessible Technological Homes” – P.A.T.H.). The P.A.T.H.

After the construction of 4 successfully functioning transformer stations, Riko signed a contract with the investor Minskenergo for the construction of new and reconstruction of the existing transformer stations.

The purification plant for wastewater collection and treatment in Radlje ob Dravi constructed by Riko and its partner SGP Pomgrad, d.d. was opened on the town’s municipal holiday.

According to this year’s Kline&Partner high standing research Janez Škrabec was again declared the 2nd most prominent Slovenian manager and Riko the 16th most respected company in Slovenia.
