Upgrade of the railway junction in Jesenice

Upgrade of tracks and overhead contact line, new platform infrastructure with canopies (1 side platform and 2 island platforms) and grade-separated access routes, reconstruction and extension of the existing underpass beneath all station tracks in the station area, including the installation of elevators for access to platforms and the parking lot, construction of a new underpass beneath all station tracks in the area of the central signal box, arrangement of station premises including renovation and refurbishment of the façade with joinery and roof reconstruction in accordance with the conditions issued by the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, as well as the complete reconstruction of the central signal box building; upgrade and adaptation of signalling, telecommunications, and power supply systems, and construction of a new power substation (ENP); renovation of the existing underpass beneath the railway station including new stairways for access to platforms; construction of a new parking area in the station zone for public railway infrastructure users; installation of noise protection barriers; construction of a new prestressed reinforced concrete bridge over the Jesenica stream (left section); and refurbishment of the steel bridge over the Jesenica stream (right section).
