Contract signed for Ljubljana Central Water Plant

In Ljubljana, Riko’s Director Janez Škrabec and Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković signed the contract for the third phase of the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Ljubljana.

The contract is part of Slovenia’s largest cohesion project, which is expected to be completed by 2020.

The design and construction of WWTP Ljubljana will be carried out by Riko in a joint venture with OTV France.

Upgrade of the central Wastewater treatment plant in Ljubljana

Ljubljana will finally begin to upgrade its sewerage network. The European Commission has approved 69 million EUR for a major cohesion project for the separation and treatment of wastewater in the area of the Ljubljansko polje aquifer, which is currently the largest one in Slovenia.

Riko and OTV Veolia signed a cooperation agreement

At the beginning of July Paris hosted “Paris Balkans 2016”, a conference on the Western Balkans, which was dedicated to young people and infrastructure integration in the region.
